WILLIAM BUCKLEY
Bill Buckley serves as Senior Advisor of HillStaffer, and focuses his attention on grassroots and state level initiatives. Mr. Buckley is a government relations veteran who brings vast management, public affairs, communications, and lobbying experience to HillStaffer and its clients.
Over his 30-year career, Mr. Buckley has managed grassroots, lobbying, and communications initiatives in the healthcare, transportation, pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, and chemical sectors throughout the Untied States. During that time he has worked with hundreds of state and local elected officials and directed teams of more than 100 lobbyists advocating for various business interests.
Mr. Buckley served as a Principal at Direct Impact, the premier innovative grassroots firm. He created the state government affairs division at the Chemical Manufacturers Association, now the American Chemistry Council. Mr. Buckley has also served as the director of public affairs at Eastman Kodak, director at the Brunswick Group and began his career as a lobbyist for Warner Lambert. Mr. Buckley is a former member of the Board of Directors at both the State Government Affairs Council and the Washington Area State Relations Group.
Mr. Buckley earned a Bachelors of Science degree in marketing from Ferris State University, and a certificate from the Senior Executives in State and Local Government from the Harvard University, John F. Kennedy School of Government.
Mr. Buckley and his wife live in Falls Church, Va.
