Thomas Rosenfield serves as President of HillStaffer. Mr. Rosenfield has extensive experience leading a variety of national initiatives for large organizations including grassroots, coalition building, Capitol Hill advocacy, and fly-ins. He currently Chairs the Government Relations Council at the American Society for Association Executives (ASAE), is the past Chair of ASAE’s Government Relations Symposium, and as a Member of ASAE’s Public Policy Committee helps train all members on federal advocacy issues and for the group’s annual fly-in. Mr. Rosenfield also has served as a national Executive Committee member with the American Israeli Public Affairs Committee (AIPAC), recognized as one of the nation’s most effective advocacy groups. Mr. Rosenfield served as Co-Chair of the national Policy Conference – AIPAC’s annual fly-in with over 5,000 participants and one of Washington, D.C.’s premier advocacy events.
Mr. Rosenfield is known for his strong advocacy, team building, and leadership skills with a history of producing consensus among diverse stakeholders. He has led multiple initiatives for stakeholders from the public and private sectors to build consensus on strategy, and has driven significant success leading highly diverse constituencies of Democrat and Republican caucuses. Leveraging his diverse background, Mr. Rosenfield has established HillStaffer expertise in key sectors including healthcare, financial services, chemicals, telecom, education, foreign operations, and manufacturing.
Prior to HillStaffer Mr. Rosenfield held a variety of executive positions within the financial services and real estate industries, including Managing Principal of a Schottenstein Family Office; Chief Operating Officer of The Bacon Companies, an award-winning firm responsible for developments including The Boulders and the Scottsdale Princess resorts; and President of Expansion Funds America, an investment advisory firm managing over $500 million AUM. Mr. Rosenfield began his career with Cantor Fitzgerald, working in both the firm’s New York and Los Angeles offices and ultimately directing investment activities for public-sector clients including state treasuries, state retirement systems, and municipalities.
Mr. Rosenfield is an active public speaker, and has served as a Guest Lecturer at the ASU/W.P. Carey Graduate School of Business, the ASAE Online Conference for Small Staff Associations, the ASAE Annual Event & Exposition, IMN Institutional Investor Conferences, and the Urban Land Institute.
Mr. Rosenfield earned his B.A. in economics from Haverford College, including a concentration in finance the Wharton School at University of Pennsylvania, and J.D. from Tulane University School of Law.
